Thank you Vision for deciding to show Emmerdale! I was quite disappointed when it was taken off of the CBC. I started watching Emmerdale many moons ago when it used to be on a PBS channel. I hope it has a very long run on Vision. Thanks again :)
ReplyDeleteThank You Vision for the first evening of Emmerdale and I can not wait until tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWill have my coffee waiting and itès just so close to comfort for me, to once enjoy this soap opera, I got hooked on during my visit to england.

It was great to see Emmerdale again. Can anyone update for me. Who is Sams little boys mother? When did Cain and Charity get married? What did Sams Dad do to upset Sam so much.
ReplyDeleteLove it... !
ReplyDeleteNote that next weeks (Sep. 27th.)listings do NOT show Emmerdale as being broadcast in Calgary!!! McLeod's Daughters, I believe, is being listed at 7.30 pm MST. Does this mean western Canada only gets one week of Emmerdale? Shame on you if this is correct.
ReplyDeleteRest assured that EastEnders and Emmerdale is airing Mondays thru Fridays on VisionTV for ALL Canadian TV service providers that boradcast VisionTV.
ReplyDeleteWe have alerted all the TV listings companies that some of their info needed to be updated.
Cheers,
VisionTV
To answer the questions above:
ReplyDeleteSam was briefly married to a woman who died of cancer. They met on one of the occasions when he left the village. Cain and Charity married just a few months ago.Sam is angry at Zak because of an illegal Polish immigrant named Olena, who worked in the B&B. Sam fell in love with her, but Zak was worried about her taking advantage of him and paid her to get a fake passport and leave town.
Have just started watching Emmerdale when Vision started to broadcast it. Does anyone know how far we are behind the UK? I didn't see anything in any of the other posts. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vision for bringing Emmerdale and Eastenders and watching all week, you have picked a perfect time for us in Ontario, we are spreading the word so you can expect many more viewers.

Thanks Major Dan for helping us spread the word !!

Anonymous,, do not like eastenders
ReplyDeleteI've been watching Emmerdale for a few years now. To answer the question 'Anonymous' posted on 23 September, we are about 6 months behing the UK broadcasts on ITV1.
ReplyDeleteEpisode 11 pt 1 is missing....also I would really appreciate if Emmerdale and East Enders were repeated sometime overnight. I enjoy being able to catch up online but, the video is always jumpy for me and I'd rather pvr it.
ReplyDeleteEpisode 11 part one is posted: http://video.visiontv.ca/#clip3287871
ReplyDeleteThis should work.

I moved back to Canada a few months ago after living in England for 8 years, I love Emmerdale and am so glad you are showing it! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteIt was quite by accident that I noticed you were showing emmerdale - so much has happened since CBC dropped the series without so much as an appology....boo CBC.....can someone tell me what happened to Jack Sugden, why was Vivian in jail, when did she have twins, what happened to Patty's sweet little wife, what happened to Jack's sons (someone went to jail, remarried, has a little girl?) It's so hard to get back into all the characters and exactly who are the people living at Home Farm?
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see Emmerdale back on the air! I've missed it so much, the same goes for Eastenders! Am soooo not happy that it is taking a Christmas break though!!!! How will I survive without it? I have not watched any other shows at 9-10 since you guys made me so happy with the return of these shows - is there anything else on between 9-10? LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vision!
Viv went ti jail covering for someone else.. Jack died a few years back in real life and so had to be written off the show.
ReplyDeleteAndy jack's son is still around and recently suffered a breakdown after losing custody of his daughter sarah to Debbie,. Not sure what happened to Emily , Paddy's wife.
Hope that helps..
Looking forward to seeing Emmerdale again on December 27th and what happens with Mark and his murder..
For some weird reason my PVR has a blip and fails to record Emmerdale sometimes, although it always records Eastenders, so I have several questions: why don't you repeat both shows, during the wee hours perhaps, to give us a second chance?
ReplyDeleteAfter watching my first online episode - due to the aforementioned failure to record - how can I delete the "other shows you might like to watch" boxes that cover half the screen while it plays?
Thanks!
Forgot to say, delighted both shows are back, I love my Brit soaps, they're a taste of home after being a Canadian since 1967!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for bringing Emmerdale and Eastenders to Vision! I got hooked to both of these shows when I was in England in June and was going through bad withdrawl. Thank you so much for giving me back my fix!
