Thank you Vision I was bitterly disappointed when Emerdale was taken off the CBC and then Eastenders, but thanks to Vision I can watch then both again. I too am thinking of cancelling my BBC Canada subscription.
Thank you very much Vision TV I too was very disappointed when Emerdale was taken off the CBC and then Eastenders, and then PBS but now thanks to you Vision we can watch then both again.

Where I live I will have the perfect trinity Coronation Street followed by EastEnders & Emmerdale...Perfect! My PVR is gonna get a workout ;) Thanks VisionTV!
Do hope that you will continue with Emmerdale and not discontinue with it after awhile; just when everyone gets interested in it. Do you have a Contract and if so, when will it expire? Just so we know when to expect the chop unlike CBC just completely discontinuing without any warning.
I am very pleased to say how thrilled I was this evening to be able to watch Emmerdale in Canada, this evening. I really missed this show, and I can not wait until tomorrow evening. Thank You Vision T.V.
Tks for airing Emmerdale, it is my favourite of the big three soaps. I have been looking for a site that shows back episodes as there is quite a gap between where CBC left off (they were miles behind anyway) and where Vision TV began. Sylvia T.
The woman with red hair is Faye Lamb, Mark Wylde's first wife. Mark Wylde was Natasha Wylde's husband but when she found he was a bigamist, she killed him. You can Google Faye's name or any other character's name and you are bound to find Wikipedia with excellent rundowns on character history, however keep in mind there may be some spoiler material in the information, as Canadian broadcasts of Emmerdale are six months behind.
Tks for the info, I am getting involved in the story now although new, to me, characters keep popping up! I always preferred Emmerdale to the two other major soaps so was delighted when Vision decided to carry it.
I am extreemly disapointed in Vision TV dropping Emmerdale for 3 weeks. My wife and I were delighted when Vision brought back Emmerdale, after it was dropped in Canada some years ago, but a 3-week absence of the program when we are trying to get to know the new characters is not appreciated.
I don't understand why Vision TV has to take away two of its most popular shows that only take up an dhour in their time slot. For goodness sakes there is enough Christmas programming on tv this time of year - don't take away our escape from it! I am a new mom on maternity leave and my hour of Eastenders and Emmerdale is an absolute luxury! I am very sad and disappointed...
I agree. Terrible decision. Just when new audiences were getting attached to Emmerdale and Eastenders you take them off the air for three weeks. You may loose audience share over this. Certainly I won't be tuning in until they return.
I was so pleased when Emmerdale and Eastenders returned on Vision TV but I am really angry that you have decided not to air these two shows until December 24th seeing that we were just getting into the story lines again, surely there are enough Christmas shows on the other channels so please do not take these two shows off again and especially Eastenders where we are already 2 half years behind.
This is great news ! Thank you VisionTV !

ReplyDeleteLots of handsome blokes on Emmerdale compared to Corrie!
